The Institute for Educational Research (IfB) is a central component of the School of Education. It is responsible for research and teaching within the School of Education and exercises the rights and duties of a faculty therein. This is where the educational science and special education training for all teacher training programs takes place.
There are currently 19 research departments located at the IfB, where 22 professors and over 100 academic staff members conduct research in national and international projects. Here you can find our research departments and their current fields of research.
