Master of Education - Grammar School and Comprehensive School

The Master of Education Gymnasium and Comprehensive School consists of four compulsory modules. BIL 1 and BIL 2 are the two extensive modules with more than 10 CP each. BIL 1 focuses on student learning at school with a focus on diagnostics, teaching and support, as well as aspects of special educational support. BIL 2 deals with the school system, theories and development of schools as well as the basics of research in the education system. BIL 3 is the educational science preparation and support for the practical semester. In addition, BIL 4 looks at German for migrant pupils. The research project (BIL 5) and the Master's thesis can be completed in Educational Sciences. All modules and module parts can be taken in any order and are offered every semester. However, we recommend taking the lectures before the seminars if possible.

In addition to the courses to be attended, the module handbooks for the sub-degree programmes also contain all the work to be completed.

Examination regulations

The examination regulations of the sub-degree programmes contain general provisions (e.g. information on credits, compensation for disadvantages, thesis) and subject-specific provisions (e.g. modules, workload).
