Study Advisory Board of the IfB

The IfB Study Advisory Board advises the Chair and the Council of the IfB (Faculty Council) on matters relating to teaching and studies, in particular on matters relating to study reform, the evaluation of studies and teaching, as well as the enactment or amendment of examination regulations.

The chair is held by the deputy chair of the Council of the Institute of Educational Research.

The IfB's Academic Advisory Board meets at regular intervals and advises on current quality-related topics in educational sciences and special needs education. It works hand in hand with the Quality Improvement Commission.

Internal faculty complaints are discussed anonymously, surveys are initiated and results are discussed. Changes to studies and examinations can be initiated upon request - for example, attendance obligations or changes to module handbooks can be voted on.
