In general, the decentralised equal opportunities officer represents the central equal opportunities officer at faculty level. According to the Higher Education Future Act (HZG), this includes the following tasks, for example:
- Participation in committees
- Appointment procedures
- Structural plan and resource allocation
- Advice on updating the faculty's equal opportunities plan
- General counselling in the context of equal opportunities
- Contact person for the equal opportunities officers.
