The Institute for Educational Research (IfB) is a central component of the School of Education. It is responsible for the research and teaching within the School of Education and exercises the rights and duties of a faculty therein. This is where the educational science and special education training for all teacher training Programmes takes place.
Currently, the IfB hosts 19 research departments, where 22 professors and over 100 academic staff members conduct research in national and international projects. Here you can find our research departments along with their current fields of research.
